Management changes in PKP companies

Poland. End of 2005 brought more changes in management boards of PKP (Polish Railways)
Companies, following the autumn parliament and presidential election. In December
three PKP companies were affected.
On Dec 6, 2005 three Board members in PKP Linia Hutnicza Szerokotorowa (PKP Broad-Gauge
Metallurgical Line) were dismissed and Krzysztof Krawczyk was appointed the Director
of Trade, Operations and Development.
On Dec 13, 2005 Krzysztof Celinski was appointed the CEO of PKP PLK (PKP Polish
Railway Lines) replacing Tadeusz Augustowski. Krzysztof Celinski came from Warsaw
Metro's where he was the CEO.
Zbigniew Zarychta, formerly Director of a regional unit of PKP PLK in Koszalin
took place of Krzysztof Groblewski in the company's Management Board.
Five members of the Supervisory Board including Chairman Wojciech Paprocki were
dismissed. New Supervisory Board Chairman is Bogusław Kapcia and the members are:
Wojciech Kwiatkowski, Jerzy Kowalczyk and Piotr Podgorski.
In PKP Cargo on the Dec 29, 2005 Wladyslaw Szczepkowski replaced Jozef Marek Kowaczyk
as the company's CEO. Zenon Kozendra and Kazimierz Murawski were appointed new
Members of the Board, replacing Władyslaw Krasuski and Zygmunt Siarkiewicz.
